De-icing granules are the safe alternative to rock salt. De-icing granules are ideal for removing and preventing dangerous build-ups of snow and ice. Huchem granules have no harmful effect on materials and are environmentally friendly. The de-icing granules are well suited to gardens and parks and building entrances, and are economical in use. In addition, our de-icing granules are non-toxic to people and animals.
The de-icing granules are particularly suitable for smaller jobs where, for example, gritting vehicles cannot reach or can only do so with difficulty. A major advantage of de-icing granules is that they last 40 times longer than rock salt and, depending on the ambient temperature, the granules continue to work for 70 hours.
De-icing granules are available from Huchem in various forms and sizes. The granules consist of small, bright white beads composed of biologically harmless substances.
