These powerful de-icing granules based on calcium chloride (CaCl₂) work considerably faster than traditional rock salt and remain active for a long time. Calcium chloride is known as one of the most effective de-icing agents and can melt ice and snow at temperatures down to approximately -25 °C. Thanks to the heat released on contact with moisture, the granules begin melting ice immediately, so that dangerous slippery conditions are quickly reduced.
