Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all quotations, orders and deliveries by Tristar Cleaning Products UK Ltd, trading as Huchem UK, registered in England and Wales under company number 11743925, VAT number GB 312 9867 84, with its registered office at Unit 3 Ripley Close, Normanton WF6 1TB, United Kingdom ("Huchem UK", "we", "us"). By placing an order on huchem.co.uk you accept these terms.
1. Business customers
huchem.co.uk is a business to business webshop. Our products are intended for professional users. By ordering you confirm that you are acting in the course of a business. Consumer protection legislation for distance selling does not apply to business orders.
2. Prices and VAT
All prices are in pounds sterling. Prices are shown excluding and including VAT at the applicable rate. Prices may be changed at any time; the price at the moment of ordering applies. Obvious errors in prices or product information do not bind us.
3. Orders and contract
An order is accepted when we send an order confirmation by e-mail. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example when a product is no longer available or when payment is not received; in that case any amount paid is refunded.
4. Payment
Payment is made at the time of ordering using the payment methods offered in the checkout. Business account customers may be offered payment on invoice at our discretion; in that case payment is due within the term stated on the invoice. In the event of late payment we may charge statutory interest and compensation under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5. Delivery
Delivery times shown on the website are indicative. We are not liable for loss caused by late delivery. Delivery is to the address given at the time of ordering. Please check the goods on delivery and report damage or shortages within 5 working days. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
6. Retention of title
The goods remain our property until we have received full payment of all amounts due for them.
7. Returns and cancellation
Returns are only accepted after prior agreement and in accordance with our Shipping & Returns page. Opened products, products made to order and glycols in non-standard concentrations or mixed with dye cannot be returned.
8. Use of products and safety
Our products are chemical products for professional use. You are responsible for using them in accordance with the product information, the label and the safety data sheet, which is available on request. Always test on a small area first. We are not liable for damage caused by incorrect use, storage or dilution.
9. Liability
Our liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the invoice value of the products concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Complaints
Complaints about a product or delivery must be reported within 5 working days of receipt via our Service page or by telephone. We will respond within 5 working days and aim to find a suitable solution.
11. Intellectual property
The Huchem name, logo, product names, texts and images on this website are the property of Huchem B.V. and its licensees and may not be used without written permission.
12. Applicable law
These terms and any contract between us are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
