Propylene Glycol Plus Food Safe USP/FDA 100% - 1000L IBC

Information

Special propylene glycol, Axti Temp P+, for cooling and heating installations. This product is based on hygroscopic, environmentally compatible propylene glycol. It contains inhibitors and low-foaming additives against rust and limescale deposits and is non-corrosive, protecting the inner walls of pipework against corrosion and product ageing, including aluminium pipework. The liquid can be added without problems to systems already filled with a food grade propylene glycol based coolant. It is virtually odourless, slightly sticky, mixes well with demineralised water and is non-volatile.

Cooling and freezing are often part of a complete food production process. Dilutions of Axti Temp P+ are particularly interesting in these applications. Typical examples are cooling in the beverage industry, such as cooling wine, beer, milk or fruit juices. During the brewing process, cooling fermentation and wort tanks is essential, and Axti Temp P+ provides the necessary heat transfer here too. Further down the process, Axti Temp P+ can also be used when filling bottles of carbonated drinks such as champagne or beer, avoiding loss of carbon dioxide.

Do not use Axti Temp P+ 100% neat: the highest working ratio is 60% (-57°C).

Mixing ratios

100% product, 0% demineralised water gives no frost protection; the product must be mixed with class A demineralised water (see the mixing ratios for propylene glycol).

Because we always aim for the highest quality, there are some situations in which we cannot accept returns:

• Special glycol percentages produced on request that are not part of our standard range cannot be returned
• Opened cans or IBCs are not taken back, as we can no longer guarantee the quality
• Glycol mixed with dye produced at your request cannot be returned
