Information

Special propylene glycol, Axti Temp P, for cooling and heating installations. This product is based on hygroscopic, environmentally compatible propylene glycol. It contains inhibitors and low-foaming additives against rust and scale deposits and is non-corrosive, protecting the inner walls of pipework against corrosion and product ageing, including in aluminium pipework. The fluid can be added without any problem to systems already filled with a propylene glycol-based coolant. It is virtually odourless, slightly sticky, mixes readily with demineralised water and is non-volatile.

Do not use Axti Temp P 100% undiluted; the highest working ratio is 60% (-57 degrees)

Mixing ratios

20% product - 80% demineralised water = protection down to -6 degrees Celsius
30% product - 70% demineralised water = protection down to -13 degrees Celsius
40% product - 60% demineralised water = protection down to -21 degrees Celsius
50% product - 50% demineralised water = protection down to -33 degrees Celsius
60% product - 40% demineralised water = protection down to -57 degrees Celsius

Inhibitors and additional protection

Our glycol products in 30%, 40%, 50% and 100% concentrations, both mono-ethylene glycol (MEG) and monopropylene glycol (MPG), are supplied as standard with a basic package of inhibitors. These inhibitors help protect the installation against corrosion and acidification, among other things. Would you prefer to receive the glycol without basic inhibitors? Please state this clearly when placing your order. Depending on the application, the materials used and the conditions within the installation, additional protection may be required. Important return information for glycols

We would like to draw your attention to a few important conditions regarding the return of glycols. Because at Huchem we always strive for the highest quality, there are certain situations in which we are unable to accept returns:

Special glycol percentages produced to order that are not part of our standard range cannot be returned.
Opened cans or IBCs cannot be taken back, as we can no longer guarantee their quality.
Glycol mixed with dye produced at your request unfortunately cannot be returned either.
