Is the facade still breathable after impregnation?
These days, impregnating products are almost always vapor-permeable. This means that moisture from inside the house can find its way out. This prevents moisture buildup indoors, which could lead to unwanted damp patches and mold growth.
Our impregnating product is at least 70% vapor-permeable. This means that moisture (vapor) can escape from the inside to the outside, but the facade is protected against it (e.g., moisture from rain).
Will water droplets remain on the facade after impregnation?
Our facade impregnation product is water-based. It therefore penetrates the bricks a little more. This means the product closes the pores. As a result, no droplets remain on the bricks. Functionally, there's no difference. Some people prefer the droplets on the facade. However, this is a matter of taste.
