Professional food-grade descaler with metal protection
This industrial food-grade descaler has been developed for the powerful removal of limescale, boiler scale, flash rust and other mineral deposits from technical installations and equipment. The product is particularly suitable for use within the food industry and other environments where high standards of cleaning and material protection are required.
The formula contains special food-safe corrosion inhibitors. During the descaling process, these inhibitors provide a protective action on metal surfaces and help prevent excessive attack on steel, copper, brass and copper alloys, among others. This means limescale is tackled powerfully while the installation is protected as far as possible when the product is used correctly.
Limescale acts as an insulator and can significantly reduce heat transfer and flow. As a result, installations consume more energy and the risk of breakdowns increases. Regular descaling helps to:
- improve heat transfer;

Directions for use
Dilute the product according to the amount and severity of the soiling:
- Normal soiling: approximately 1 part product to 10 parts water
- Heavy soiling: approximately 1 part product to 5 parts water
Always add the descaler to the water. Allow the solution to circulate or apply it according to the cleaning method for the installation. Check the result and the condition of the material regularly during cleaning.
Drain the installation completely after treatment and rinse carefully with clean or demineralised water.
Material protection
The food-safe corrosion inhibitors help protect steel, copper, brass and copper alloys during the prescribed treatment. The final material safety depends on the dilution, temperature, contact time and the material being cleaned.
Do not use on aluminium, zinc, galvanised surfaces, chrome or other acid-sensitive materials without carrying out a material test first.
