Bio Descaler / Citric Acid 5L – Powerful & Environmentally Friendly Limescale Remover / Food Grade

This Bio Descaler is a powerful, non-foaming acidic cleaner based on citric acid. The product effectively removes limescale, boiler scale, flash rust and other mineral deposits from appliances, pipework and technical installations. The formula contains special food-grade corrosion inhibitors. These inhibitors help protect metal surfaces during the descaling process and, when used correctly, limit attack on steel, stainless steel, copper, brass and copper alloys, among others. This makes the descaler particularly suitable for professional applications in the food industry, catering, commercial kitchens and other environments where reliable cleaning and material protection are essential.

Ordinary citric acid products remove limescale, but do not always contain protective inhibitors. This professional formula combines the scale-dissolving action of citric acid with food-grade corrosion inhibitors for additional protection of metal components and installations. Limescale can reduce flow, impair heat transfer and increase energy consumption. Regular descaling therefore helps maintain the performance, efficiency and service life of equipment.

Dilute the product with water according to the level of soiling and the instructions for the installation concerned. Apply the solution or allow it to circulate through the system. Allow the product to act under controlled conditions and do not let it dry out. Drain the system completely after treatment and always rinse surfaces and installations carefully with clean water. Test the product on an inconspicuous area before use. Do not use on aluminium, zinc, galvanised surfaces, natural stone or other acid-sensitive materials without carrying out a material test first.
